Solar installation company in Greater Noida

Verde Solaire installs rooftop solar for homes, societies, schools and businesses across Greater Noida and Greater Noida West from its head office in Sector 47, Noida, about twenty minutes up the expressway. That is the short answer to "which solar company in Greater Noida". The rest of this page is written for the person who wants to check a company before paying an advance: the eight things worth asking any installer, how Verde Solaire answers each, what changes between an independent house, a builder floor and a society flat, the sectors covered, and what the company has already built in the city.

Eight things to check in any installer, and our answers

1. Registration. Under the scheme, the installer must be a vendor registered on the national portal, and you choose the vendor on pmsuryaghar.gov.in. Ask for the vendor listing, then confirm it yourself on the portal. 2. Named components. A quote that says "Tier 1 panels" names nothing. Our quotes carry the make, model and wattage of the panels and the inverter. Published installations have used Adani and Vikram Solar modules with KSolare and Delta inverters; the company is certified by Vikram Solar as a trusted quality EPC integrator and an authorised solar solutions partner of Luminous. 3. ALMM and the Made-in-India rule. For a subsidised system, both the modules and the cells must be made in India, and from 1 June 2026 the cells must appear on ALMM List-II. Ask which list entry the quoted module sits on. We only quote modules that qualify.

4. Structure. Ask what the mounting structure is made of, how it is anchored to your roof, and what wind loading it is designed for. The survey engineer measures the parapet and slab before the quote, so the structure is designed for your roof rather than picked from a catalogue.

5. Net-metering filing inside the price. Some quotes leave the NPCL application, the inspection and the meter to you. Ours does not. The published price for every capacity includes net metering, and the team follows the application through to activation, which is the part customers most often write about.

6. Subsidy timing. Officially the subsidy is paid "within 30 days" of the claim; about 15 days on average. In practice it is 30–45 days after verification in practice. Any installer promising it faster is guessing; ask instead who files the claim and who chases it. We do both.

7. Warranty terms. As published in July 2025, all three panel types the company supplies carry 25-year performance warranties on all three panel types. Ask for the manufacturer's warranty document, not a line on the quote, and ask separately about the inverter, because inverter warranties are shorter and vary by make.

8. After-sales. Ask who you call when the inverter shows a fault in year four, and whether the company still has an office you can walk into. Verde Solaire has three offices, in Noida, New Delhi and Varanasi, and the head office in Sector 47 is the one that serves Greater Noida. NPCL, not PVVNL: the board that matters here

Greater Noida and Greater Noida West are served by NPCL (Noida Power Company Limited). Noida city is served by PVVNL (Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, a UPPCL company). The name printed on your bill decides which portal the application uses and which inspector visits.

Under the state rules, under the UPERC rooftop solar regulations of 2019, residential users may choose net or gross metering, and the DISCOM allows capacity within transformer limits. That transformer limit is the reason a survey comes before a quote: a society with a heavily loaded transformer may be told a lower capacity than the roof could hold. On tariff, NPCL charges the same slab rates as the state DISCOMs with a 10% regulatory discount, so the saving per unit in Greater Noida is slightly smaller than in Noida for the same consumption, though the slabs themselves are the same.

Verde Solaire's published planning figure for the net meter in Noida and Greater Noida is 20 to 30 days after installation, with your Aadhaar, electricity bill, ID proof and signature as the documents. The company's own record of a 10 kW Greater Noida installation in April 2023 notes that the electricity board installed the net meter quickly in that case. The subsidy in Greater Noida

The central subsidy is ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW plus ₹18,000 for the third, capped at ₹78,000. Uttar Pradesh adds ₹15,000 per kW, capped at ₹30,000 per consumer, on top of the central subsidy, under the 2022 state solar policy. On a 3 kW system that is ₹1,08,000 in total, against a published price of ₹1,99,000 to ₹2,10,000, leaving ₹91,000 to ₹1,02,000 to pay. Larger systems get the same rupee amount, so the subsidy covers a smaller share of a 5 kW or 10 kW price.

Eligibility is an Indian citizen who owns a house with a suitable roof, has a valid electricity connection and has not taken an earlier solar subsidy. The sizing guide published with the scheme is 0–150 units a month: 1–2 kW · 150–300 units: 2–3 kW · above 300 units: above 3 kW. Independent houses, builder floors and society flats

Greater Noida has three kinds of roof, and the paperwork differs for each.

Independent houses and villas in the sector blocks and the gated villa projects are the simplest case. The owner holds the roof, the connection is in the owner's name, and a 3 kW to 10 kW system usually fits on the terrace with room left for a water tank. This is the case the scheme was designed for.

Builder floors are common in the Alpha to Zeta blocks and across Greater Noida West. The roof right is the first question: it is usually written into the sale deed for the top floor, and sometimes shared. The second question is the sanctioned load on the individual connection, because the board will not approve a system larger than it. Society flats in the high-rise projects of Greater Noida West cannot usually take an individual system, because the flat has no roof of its own. The route is a common-area system through the RWA or the society, which the scheme supports at ₹18,000 per kW up to up to 500 kW (3 kW per house), EV charging included. That offsets the common-area bill for lifts, pumps and lighting, which in a large society is a substantial number. Areas served in Greater Noida
