Warranty and after-sales support
Verde Solaire's panels carry 25-year performance warranties on all three panel types, as stated in the company's July 2025 price posts for Delhi and Noida. Inverter warranties are the manufacturer's: on the published 430 kW plant at Dharuhera, the Havells inverters came with a 10-year warranty, and on a home system the years depend on the make and model named in your quote. After the installation, support means an engineer you can reach by phone or WhatsApp, a site visit when a fault needs one, and help with the electricity board if the net meter or the subsidy stalls.
This page states only what Verde Solaire has published. Where a figure has not been published, such as the number of years of workmanship cover or maintenance included, the page says so and points you to the written quote, which is the document that binds.
What the warranties cover
A solar system has three layers of warranty, and they are honoured by different people.
Panels. The performance warranty is the manufacturer's promise that the panel will still produce at least a stated share of its rated output after a set number of years. Verde Solaire's published range is 25-year performance warranties on all three panel types: mono PERC, bifacial and TOPCon. The exact output curve is printed on the datasheet of the model in your quote, which is why every quote from Verde Solaire names the panel make and model rather than "Tier 1 panels". Recent installations used Adani and Vikram Solar modules; Verde Solaire is certified by Vikram Solar as a trusted quality EPC integrator.
Inverters. The inverter is the component most likely to need attention inside the life of the system, and its warranty is shorter than the panels'. It is the manufacturer's warranty. The published example is the Dharuhera factory plant, where the Havells inverters carried 10 years. Residential systems in the company's posts and testimonials used KSolare and Delta inverters; ask for the warranty years of the model quoted to you and keep the datasheet with your invoice. The inverter guide explains what the makes mean.
Structure, wiring and workmanship. Verde Solaire has not published a number of years for this layer, so this page does not state one. The written quote should. If it does not, ask before you pay, and read before you pay the advance for the other items that belong in writing.
Who honours which warranty
The manufacturer honours the panel and inverter warranties. The installer's job is the part you cannot do from home: diagnosing which component has failed, logging the claim with the manufacturer, arranging the replacement and fitting it. An installer that is still trading and still answering the phone is therefore worth more than a long warranty from a company that has moved on. Verde Solaire's earliest surviving customer accounts are from 2017: S. C. Garg, whose system at his Greater Kailash residence in New Delhi had, in his words, been "working continuously without a single day breakdown since 2017", and who describes the plant as maintenance free.
What after-sales looks like in practice
The company's published pages describe after-sales support as part of every installation, from consultation and site visit through feasibility, approvals, installation and maintenance. In practice it works like this:
- Phone and WhatsApp. The published numbers are 080 4889 0647 (dial with the leading 0 from India) and +91 88263 18849 on WhatsApp. The company's own contact page tells customers to use WhatsApp for the faster response when something is urgent.
- Engineer diagnosis first. Most inverter questions are answered from a photo of the display or a screenshot of the monitoring app; a site visit follows when the fault needs hands on the roof.
- Electricity board follow-up. If the net meter has not been installed, the bill has not started showing export, or the subsidy has not arrived, the same team that filed the application follows it up with BSES Rajdhani, BSES Yamuna, Tata Power-DDL, PVVNL, NPCL or PUVVNL. See installed but not activated for what each delay usually means.
Customers describe the same thing. Sohail Dhir, with a home system in New Delhi, wrote that Verde Solaire "is very prompt in responding to queries if any". Aurbind Sharma, with a 7 kW system in Sector 41, Noida, wrote that "the workmanship and the service provided by the Verde Solaire team was exemplary". Both reviews are quoted in full on the reviews page.
Monitoring, cleaning and maintenance
Every grid-connected inverter sold today reports generation to a display and, on most models, to the manufacturer's phone app. That app is your first line of monitoring: a day with no generation while the sun is out is the signal to call. Verde Solaire's own Android app is for reaching the company and its services; it is not a plant monitor.
Cleaning is the one maintenance task a rooftop system needs on a schedule in Delhi NCR, because dust cuts output between rains. The published Dharuhera plant was built with a module cleaning system and walkways; a home system is cleaned by hand with water and a soft brush, and maintenance and cleaning explains how often and what to avoid. Verde Solaire also offers maintenance and cleaning as a service. The company has not published a standard annual maintenance contract or the years of maintenance included with an installation, so if you want one, ask for it in the quote.
How to raise an issue
- 01
Read the inverterTwo minutes
Note the error code or message on the inverter display or app, and the last day it showed normal generation. A photo is enough. - 02
Check the two switchesTwo minutes
Confirm the AC isolator and the DC switch are on, and that the house has grid supply. An on-grid inverter switches itself off during a power cut and restarts when the grid returns; that is safety, not a fault. - 03
Send the detailsSame day
WhatsApp the photo, your name, the installation address and the system size to +91 88263 18849, or call 080 4889 0647. - 04
Diagnosis by phone, then a visitDepends on the fault
An engineer works through the fault with you. If a component has failed, the claim is logged with the manufacturer and the replacement is fitted on site.
Most problems in the first year are not equipment failures: a tripped breaker, a monitoring app that lost its Wi-Fi, or a net meter that has not yet been read. Common problems after installing rooftop solar walks through each one with what to check before you call. For anything on this page that you would like to see against your own system, how we work describes the survey, the quote and the handover.
